Delete Account

You can permanently delete your LazyReader account directly from the app. No email or web form needed.

How to delete your account

  1. 1Open the LazyReader app on your device.
  2. 2Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the library.
  3. 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. 4Confirm the deletion when prompted. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

  • Your LazyReader account and login credentials
  • Reading progress and bookmarks for all books
  • Your book library list and metadata
  • Connected cloud account tokens (Dropbox, OneDrive, Nextcloud)
  • Any locally cached book files on your device

What is not deleted

  • Your actual book files in your personal cloud storage (Dropbox, OneDrive, Nextcloud) - LazyReader never uploads or stores your books on its servers.

Retention period: Deletion is immediate and permanent. No backup copies of your account data are retained after deletion.
